How to delete your data
What merchants, Facebook users and shoppers can delete, how, and what the law makes us keep.
RaxCube is a platform on which merchants run their own online stores. What you can delete, and how, depends on who you are. Everything here is free, and we never ask you to prove more than that you are the person the data is about.
If you are a merchant
Your whole account. Write from your account email to legal@raxcube.com; our support desk closes the store. We confirm the request with you before acting, and close the account within five business days of your confirmation. Your orders and invoices can be exported for 90 days after that. What is deleted and when, and what tax law makes us keep (our invoices to you, and your store's invoices, for eight years), is set out in clause 14 of the Merchant Terms and section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
One piece of information. Most of what you gave us you can change or remove yourself in your admin. For anything else, write to privacy@raxcube.com.
What Google gave us. Remove our access from your Google Account (Security → Your connections to third-party apps and services), then ask us to close your account as above. After that you cannot sign in with Google.
What Meta gave us. Open Social in your store admin and disconnect the Instagram account, Facebook Page or WhatsApp Business account. That deletes the key Meta gave us at once. "Delete my Meta data" on the same page then deletes the connections and their keys, our record of the posts made through them (with the option of taking those posts down on the networks first), and the WhatsApp messages sent to your connected number; catalogue listings, collection sets, catalogue choices, message-template records and the domain tag stay until your store's data is deleted. Both work while your store is unpaid or closed; leaving never waits on a payment. You can also remove RaxCube from your Facebook settings under Business integrations; see the next section.
If you removed RaxCube in your Facebook settings
When you remove RaxCube under Business integrations in your Facebook settings and then, under Removed, send a data-deletion request, Meta sends us a signed request. We then delete every connection made with your Facebook account to any RaxCube store that we can match to the request (a connection made before 28 September 2026 or through Meta's embedded signup may not match; use the Social page in the store admin, or write to us, for those), the keys Meta gave us for them, our record of the posts made through those connections, and the WhatsApp messages sent to any number you connected. Nothing is deleted from your Facebook or Instagram.
Meta shows you a confirmation code and a link to a status page on our servers: our API address (api.raxcube.com, or api.raxcube.net while the app is in Meta's review environment) followed by /api/v1/social/data-deletion/ and your code. The page says whether the request is complete, with the date we received it and the date we finished. If a store's records are under a legal hold, the request waits until the hold lifts, and the page says we are working on it. The page keeps answering for a year after the request is complete.
If you would rather write to us, send the request from the email address on your account to privacy@raxcube.com.
If you are a shopper on a store built with RaxCube
The store is the seller and holds your order details; its privacy notice is linked from the foot of every page of that store.
- Your account, reviews, questions and saved items you can delete yourself, straight away, from "Your information" in your account on that store.
- A copy of everything the store holds about you, and corrections, are available from the same place.
- WhatsApp messages you sent the store are kept for ninety days. To delete them sooner, send DELETE MY DATA to the store on WhatsApp from your own number; this deletes the store's copy, not the chat on your phone, and it works whatever the store's plan and after the store has closed.
- Offers on WhatsApp stop when you reply STOP.
- Orders and invoices stay on the store's books for as long as tax law requires, without your name where the law allows.
If you write to us about a store, we tell you that the store runs it, pass your message to the store, and keep a record. Write to privacy@raxcube.com.
What we keep after a deletion
Invoices and tax records, for eight years, as the law requires; records of consents and acceptances, for three years after an account closes, so that what was agreed can be shown; and anything a court, an authority or a legal hold requires us to keep. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy has the full list.
Timing
We acknowledge a request within 24 hours and complete it, or tell you what we had to keep and why, within seven days.
